Parks Committee

We Have Vacancies!

The City of Bellevue is seeking dedicated individuals to serve on the Parks Committee. We strongly encourage you to apply! Please refer to the vacancy notice for more information.

What is the Parks Committee?

The Parks Committee is a volunteer group comprised of Bellevue citizens or nearby residents who are appointed by the Mayor and Common Council to serve 3-year terms. The Committee makes recommendations about park policy to the Common Council and City Staff. In collaboration with other City departments, the Committee guides the maintenance, design, uses, and future vision of Bellevue’s public space.

The purpose of the Committee is to enhance the beauty, vitality and sense of community of the City of Bellevue by overseeing our public parks. The Committee is devoted to providing a variety of parks, recreational opportunities, and spaces for the public to come together.

We believe that every resident of Bellevue deserves clean, safe, fun, and useful public parks.

Please see Bellevue City Code 7-4-3 for more information.
