- Levies for:
- Ambulance District – A two-year levy to increase the annual rate from $11.01 to $17.73 per $100,000 of assessed taxable value in order to maintain existing service levels, keep up with increasing call volumes, and allow for modest growth.
- Library District – A proposal to establish a library district encompassing Hailey, Bellevue, and a portion of Blaine County. The District would initially be funded by a levy of $28.00 per $100,000 of assessed taxable value. While the current budgetary amounts vary by jurisdiction within the proposed district and are difficult to directly ascertain as they are within the general fund and partially supported by other City services, the estimated “levy rate” for the existing Bellevue Library is around $4.00 per $100,000 of assessed taxable value. The newly formed district would establish its own board of directors and operate under the regulations of Chapter 33-27 of Idaho Statutes, and aims to provide expanded hours and services to residents within the district.
