Crews will be in your neighborhood in the coming days to apply friction seal to select residential streets. Similiar to chip seal, the friction seal helps protect and prolong the life of pavement. Work consists of applying the friction seal and the removal and reapplications of street striping and pavement markings.
After receiving this door knocker you should expect to see work begin within the next 2-3 business days.

What do citizens need to know…..
Work is scheduled for June 29, June 30, and July 1, with July 2 reserved if additional time is needed. The City is hopeful the project can be completed with a half-day of work on July 1.
The following streets are scheduled to receive treatment:
Oak Street, Chestnut Loop, Sunrise Ranch Road, Summit Lane, Ridge View Drive, Parkside Drive to Slaughter House Road, Slaughter House Road to 8th Street
Crews plan to begin on Oak Street, then move to Chestnut Loop before continuing to the Parkside area. Additional details, including work times and traffic information, will be announced as the project date approaches. Residents are encouraged to watch for updates and plan accordingly. Please do not park on the edge of the street during this time.
