FIRE UPDATE:
Per the Blaine County Sheriff’s Office:
This morning we are awaiting aerial mapping of yesterday’s fire in Martin Canyon, east of Bellevue, ID. We will update the Slaughterhouse Evac Zone Level 2 SET Status when we have more information. Initial reports indicate good progress was made on the fire overnight. Residents are reminded to maintain situational awareness in case conditions change.
An individual has come forward and admitted that he started the fire. A fire investigation is ongoing.
